A. Lange & Söhne adds new iteration to its Cabaret collection
Limited to 50 pieces, A. Lange & Söhne has expanded its Cabaret Tourbillon offering with the release of the Honeygold.
Originally launched in 2008, the Cabaret Tourbillon was the first wristwatch to combine a tourbillon with a stop-seconds mechanism thus allowing time to be set to the second.
The new edition preserves the distinctive rectangular case shape and deploys a black-rhodium dial manufactured entirely in-house.
Powered by the manually wound calibre L042. 1, the movement is also rectangular and has been specifically designed for the Cabaret case.
Comprising 370 parts, it offers a 12-hour power reserve and displays some of the brand’s hallmarks, including untreated German silver plates, hand engraving and screwed gold chatons.
The 29.5 mm x 39.2 mm case is paired with a dark brown alligator strap and honey gold pin buckle.
A. Lange & Söhne debuted the new timepiece at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in Lake Como.
