A year to remember for Hettich

Hettich Jewellers’ director Jeffrey Chinn has been reflecting on reaching 125 years as a family business.

This anniversary year coincided with the opening of the Jersey company’s King Street store, which is opposite its original home.

Writing on LinkedIn, Chinn also acknowledged that not all the events of 2025 had been positive, citing the passing of his and his brother Nicholas’ father, Tony Chinn.

“This year was also marked by profound personal loss,” he wrote. “We said goodbye to our father, Tony Chinn, who ran the business so brilliantly for decades. His dedication, integrity, and passion shaped Hettich Jewellers into what it is today, and his legacy continues to guide everything we do. With his passing we continue as a privately owned family business.”

As a long-term Patek Philippe and Rolex authorised dealer, and with the expansion into the new King Street boutique, the future looks bright for the Channel Island store.
