Alexander Shorokhoff collaborates with guilloché artisan
Independent German-based watch brand Alexander Shorokhoff has announced a collaborative limited edition timepiece with master engraver and guilloché artisan Jochen Benzinger.
The partnership unites Shorokhoff’s signature design cues with Benzinger’s traditional hand-finishing techniques.
Based in Pforzheim, Benzinger is one of the few remaining artisans globally to specialise in traditional hand-engraved, skeletonised, and guilloché dials, utilising machines that are over 100 years old.
The two companies met at Benzinger’s workshop earlier this year to sort out the initial sketches and design direction for the watch.
The new model will be limited to just 30 pieces, with nearly half of these having already been reserved by retailers ahead of its official release.
