AP House moves around the corner to new Mayfair location
Audemars Piguet has officially relocated AP House London from New Bond Street to a sprawling, four-story Grade II-listed building in Mayfair.
Located at 9 Clifford Street, just a short distance from the previous address, and spanning 914 square meters, the new location trades traditional retail for a “home away from home” atmosphere, blending the energy of a British private members’ club with the brand’s Swiss heritage.
The 1719 Neo-classical property has been meticulously restored, reviving original columns and fireplaces once lost to fire and decades of office use.
Inside, visitors can expect to find a ‘whisky distillery’-inspired watch display, Chesterfield sofas, and industrial copper accents.
The ground floor showcases historical timepieces and a symbolic “Royal Oak” tree, while the first floor pairs watch displays with “punk-inspired” British art.
Up on the second floor is a bar, a communal dining table, and a music room housing Montreux Jazz Festival archives, while there is also a 133-square-metre terrace that overlooks the Mayfair skyline.
This latest move continues AP’s rollout of new or upgraded AP Houses, with the opening of its new one in Atlanta, Georgia, just last month.
