Audemars Piguet opens new central manufacturing site

Audemars Piguet has inaugurated a new manufacturing site in Le Brassus in Switzerland as part of its 150th anniversary celebrations.

‘The Arc’ is a 23,700m² facility that will be used as the manufacturer’s focal point, bringing together local production teams and technical specialities, previously dispersed across the Vallée de Joux.

Inside, the building is defined by transparent partitions, meeting rooms, dedicated quiet zones, and traditional offices.

Currently, the building accommodates 700 employees, but the manufacturer says it has been deliberately created for future brand growth, allowing for an increase in production capacity.

Chief executive officer, Ilaria Resta, said: “With this new building, Audemars Piguet continues to invest in the well-being and expertise of its employees.

“Designed to optimize collaboration and workflow, the flexibility of the space will allow us to adapt to evolving needs as we build the future of the brand.”
