Audemars Piguet takes to the Met Gala

Audemars Piguet has been flaunted by numerous celebrities at this year’s Met Gala.

At the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, Audemars Piguet was seen on the wrists of tennis legend Serena Williams, Nigerian-British rapper Skepta, and American singer Anderson .Paak.

Williams wore the Royal Oak Selfwinding Perpetual Calendar, whilst Skepta adorned the Royal Oak “Jumbo” Extra-Thin, and Anderson .Paak sported the Royal Oak “Jumbo” Extra-Thin Openworked.

Williams’ Royal Oak Selfwinding Perpetual Calendar debuts the calibre 7139. Crafted in titanium with BMG accents, the model features a sapphire dial that reveals the mechanical and technical parts.

Skepta’s piece is a fully set Royal Oak Jumbo, with an 18-carat yellow gold case set with brilliant-cut yellow sapphires.

Finally, Anderson .Paak’s stainless-steel timepiece houses the new self-winding extra-thin open worked movement, calibre 7124. The model is also available in 18-carat pink gold.

The 2026 Met Gala took place on 4 May, the first Monday of the month as customary for the event. The theme for this year’s event was “Costume Art.”
