Ball celebrates Declaration of Independence anniversary
To celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, Ball Watch Company has launched the Engineer Marvelight Patriot collection.
Arriving in December, the collection is split into two COSC-certified chronometer options: the Engineer III Marvelight Patriot and the Engineer M Marvelight Patriot.
The Engineer III features a highly corrosion-resistant 904L stainless steel case (40 mm or 43 mm) powered by the automatic Ball RR1103-C caliber.
Meanwhile, the Engineer M is powered by the in-house manufacture caliber RRM7309-C, delivering an 80-hour power reserve. It features a 904L steel 40 mm case or a 316L steel 43 mm case.
Both series offer a choice between a shimmering blue aventurine glass dial or a silver meteorite dial featuring unique Widmanstätten crystalline patterns.
Given Ball Watch Company’s history, it’s unsurprising that low-light legibility is a key element, with the dials featuring signature tritium micro gas tubes that glow automatically without needing an external light charge.
Limited to 1,000 pieces per execution, the Engineer III is priced at $ 2,599 (Aventurine) / $ 2,999 (Meteorite), while the Engineer M is priced at $ 3,349 (Aventurine) / $ 3,749 (Meteorite).
