Ball introduces Year of the Horse watch in the home stretch

With the beginning of the Year of the Fire Horse commencing on February 17, Ball Watch Company has introduced the Engineer II Galloping Horse Zodiac Commemorative Timepiece.

At the centre of the dial is a lifelike metallic horse in full gallop at the center of the dial, while the calligraphic seconds hand is a counterweight shaped like the Chinese character for ‘horse.’

Housed in a 40mm corrosion-resistant 904L stainless steel case, the watch is powered by the Swiss automatic Ball RR1103 calibre. 

It features Ball’s signature illumination technology for 24/7 visibility, with self-powered freen and yellow Micro Gas Tubes on the hands and hour markers, and Super-LumiNova®: Applied to the minute track.

Available from April, the watch is priced at $2,199 / £1,880.
