Ball launches watch that’s out of this world
Ball Watch Company has launched the Roadmaster Marine GMT, a tool watch featuring a dial crafted from the Gibeon meteorite.
Arriving 600 million years after the meteorite struck Namibia, the material’s unique Widmanstätten crystalline patterns ensure that no two dials are identical.
Housed in a lightweight 40mm or 42mm titanium case, the watch features a scratch-proof, bi-directional ceramic bezel in a striking yellow-and-black “bumblebee” colorway, offering high visibility and resistance to UV rays.
29 self-powered micro gas lights provide a glow on the hands and dial, requiring no external light source to charge. Powering the Marine GMT is the RR1203-C movement, which is COSC-certified and water-resistant to 300 meters.
The series is limited to 1,000 pieces per execution, with pre-orders available until January 28. The standard dial watch is priced at $3,349, while the meteorite dial is priced at $3,999.
