Beaverbrooks bolsters board of directors, with three in and one out
The Beaverbrooks Group has bolstered its senior management team with the promotion of three of its team onto the board of directors.
The national retailer, which runs the Beaverbrooks and Loupe high street brands, has appointed its current head of property and store design, Ben Reilly, as operations director, following 21 years with the group.
Jo Wilkinson steps up to the role of digital and brand experience director and will continue to lead Beaverbrooks Group’s omnichannel and digital development.
And Nick Bucknell — another stalwart with 22 years of Beaverbrooks experience under his belt — becomes watch buying and Loupe operations director.
As three doors open, one begins to close, with Roger Fairhurst stepping down as brand director at the end of September after more than 35 years with the company. He will then leave the business entirely in spring of next year. Fairhurst is credited as having played a pivotal role in the development and success of Beaverbrooks’ e-commerce function.
“We are delighted to welcome Ben, Jo, and Nick to the director team,” said Anna Blackburn, managing director at Beaverbrooks. “All three have built long and successful careers with The Beaverbrooks Group and bring significant expertise across our business.
“This is an exciting time for the Group and the right moment to strengthen our leadership team as we continue to deliver our strategic vision and work towards our core purpose of enriching lives.
“We are also incredibly grateful to Roger for more than 35 years of commitment to the business and everything he has contributed throughout his career,” she concluded.
