Black beauty from Braun and Billionaire Boys Club
Braun has collaborated with fashion brand Billionaire Boys Club to design a wall clock.
Co-founded by music mogul Pharrell Williams in 2003, Billionaire Boys Club’s mantra has always been “heart and mind,” the letters of which replace the numbers on the clock.
The whole aesthetic is in line with Braun’s well-known minimalism, inspired by the “less is more” philosophy of designer Dieter Rams.
The clocks are designed to be unobtrusive and functional, with a focus on readability and essential elements, as described in Braun’s “less, but better” principle.
More influences from the fashion brand are seen in the inversion of the base colour to a stark, matte black finish, with pops of red and blue on the hour and second hands.
