Breitling streamlines Chronomat collection in relaunched range

Breitling has updated its Chronomat collection for the first time since 2020 with a series of refinements focused on wearability, integration, and cleaner design execution.

Originally developed in the 1980s for Italy’s Frecce Tricolori aerobatic team, the Chronomat is one of the brand’s most recognisable models, and, for its latest development, Breitling has made a move from a semi-integrated bracelet to a fully integrated case and bracelet design.

The brand has also introduced a new micro-adjustment system for the Rouleaux bracelet and streamlined the bezel construction on the chronograph models.

The Chronomat B01 42 now measures a noticeably slimmer 13.77 mm in thickness, down from 15.1 mm, while retaining the in-house COSC-certified Caliber 01 with 70 hours of power reserve.

Dial options include white, blue, green, anthracite, brown, and ice blue, with configurations in steel, two-tone, platinum, and red gold.

Elsewhere in the reimagined lineup is the new Chronomat Automatic B31 40, powered by Breitling’s manufacture B31 caliber with a 78-hour power reserve. At just 10.99 mm in thickness, it introduces a more compact and versatile time-and-date option within the collection.

The brand has also updated the Chronomat Automatic 36 with slimmer proportions and new mother-of-pearl and diamond-set variations.

Prices range from £4,750–£44,000.

On a business level, Breitling’s parent firm recently rebranded into the House of Brands. Read Watch Insider’s HERE:
