Casio’s sales and operating profit up significantly in Q1 of FY27
Casio Computer Co. has released its financial results for the first quarter of its new fiscal year, with its timepiece division seeing sales and operating profit up significantly, year-on-year (YoY).
Net sales for its timepiece division hit ¥51 billion (approximately $324 million) for the April–June period, up from ¥39.5 billion the year before — an increase of +29% YoY.
Meanwhile, operating profit for the timepiece division went up to ¥11.8 billion (approximately $75 million) from ¥4.2 billion (approximately $27 million) in 2025 — an increase of +181% YoY.
These latest excellent financial figures for the Japanese watch brand come hot on the heels of its FY26 end-of-year results, which showed its timepiece division’s revenue up 11% and its operating profit up 34% YoY.
“Both G-Shock and Casio Watch recorded double-digit sales growth year-on-year, and sales were
up in all regions except for the Middle East,” the company said. “G-Shock sales increased for the iconic 5000 and 5600 series and the octagonal 2100 series, and new products, including collaboration models, also performed well.
“Casio Watch products attracted new user segments, including women and young people, and maintained strong sales worldwide, mainly driven by the A158WA and the MTP-1302D. Meanwhile, sales of mechanical EDIFICE models also remained strong,” it continued.
