Chicago jeweler CD Peacock receives diamond accolade
Chicago watch and jewelry retailer CD Peacock has received the Community Impact Award from Diamonds Do Good.
Diamonds Do Good is a global nonprofit that celebrates the positive impact that diamonds can have on communities globally.
Its honorees each year are businesses that invest time and resources into building a more equitable and sustainable future for the wider industry.
“Giving back has always been at the heart of CD Peacock,” the company’s vice chairman Steven Holtzman said on LinkedIn. “Through fundraising events, charitable partnerships, and community initiatives, we have been fortunate to support causes that make a difference.
“Receiving the Community Impact Award from Diamonds Do Good is a meaningful honor and a reflection of the collective efforts of our team, family, clients, and community partners,” he concluded.
Diamonds Do Good was clear about the reasons why it felt like CD Peacock was worthy of the accolade. “From its work with numerous charities, including the Beautiful Lives Project, Cradles to Crayons, The Community House, and the Hinsdale Humane Society, to its leadership in demonstrating how natural diamonds create meaningful, lasting change, CD Peacock continues to set the standard for integrity in the jewelry industry and the power of purpose-driven leadership,” it said.
