Christopher Ward dives into the Bay of Biscay with new Trident
Christopher Ward has expanded its dive watch lineup with the new C60 Trident Biscay collection, replacing the outgoing C65 Aquitaine with a retro-modern design inspired by the Bay of Biscay.
The line is led by the C60 Trident Biscay Automatic, available in 39 mm and 42 mm case sizes and featuring an 11 mm profile, a box sapphire crystal, and the brand’s Light-catcher™ case architecture.
It is powered by the COSC-certified Sellita SW300-1 movement, which comes with a 56-hour power reserve.
“While the Trident Pro and Lumière are for serious divers, and the Reef is all about shallow warm-water fish-spotting, the Biscay is stormy, earthy, rugged, grounded — and gorgeous,” said Mike France, CEO and co-founder of Christopher Ward. “It’s also a dive watch that performs beautifully at the task most of us use our divers for most of the time — sitting in meetings, but dreaming about the sea.”
Alongside the Automatic, the collection also includes: the C60 Trident Biscay GMT — available in 39mm and 42 mm and powered by the Sellita SW330-2 movement; and the C60 Trident Biscay Bronze — offered exclusively in 39 mm and crafted from a marine-grade aluminium bronze alloy.
All models feature 200 metres of water resistance, vintage-inspired Super-LumiNova® Grade X1 BL lume, and a new tooth profile on the bezel.
In line with Christopher Ward’s ‘2% for GOOD’ initiative, 2% of all Biscay sales will be donated to the Blue Marine Foundation to support ocean protection.
Prices start at £1,330 / $1,870 for the Automatic, £1,430 / $1,995 for the GMT, and £1,495 / $2,095 for the Bronze model.
