Christopher Ward elevates core collection with redesign
Christopher Ward has elevated its core collection with the reintroduction of the new Sealander GMT and Sealander Automatic.
Available in 36 mm, 39 mm, and 42 mm, the timepieces have been re-engineered as the brand’s highest-volume model worldwide.
The design comes in white and sky blue across all three models. However, a black dial is available for the 39 mm and 42 mm pieces.
Additionally, a pistachio green dial is reserved for the 39 mm only, while the 36 mm has an exclusive pink variant.
Powering the watch is the Sellita SW330-2, which has a power reserve of 56 hours.
The new Sealanders also debut iLink, a new system for the Consort and Bader bracelets that features removable links with a push-button that releases the outermost link from its securing pin, allowing additional links to slide out before clicking securely back into place.
The watches also have a rubber strap or a vintage oak leather strap as an alternative to the bracelet.
“When a watch becomes as important to customers as the Sealander has, you don’t chase change for its own sake. You focus on the details,” stated CEO and co-founder, Mike France.
“This new generation reflects years of listening, learning, and refining. It’s the most complete expression of Sealander we’ve ever made.”
The Sealander Automatic is available from £850 / $1,150 on the vintage oak leather strap, £950 / $1,290 on the rubber strap, £1,015 / $1,375 on the Bader bracelet, and £1,055 / $1,430 on the Consort bracelet.
The Sealander GMT is available from £1,025 / $1,395 on the vintage oak leather strap, £1,125 / $ 1,535 on the rubber strap, £1,190 / $1,620 on the Bader bracelet, and £1,230 / $1,675 on the Consort bracelet.
