Chronoswiss utilises natural stone in new limited editions
Chronoswiss has unveiled two limited edition timepieces that see the brand using natural stone dials for the first time in its modern era.
The first — the Small Second Jasper — features a matte German jasper stone dial displaying beige, brown, and ivory landscape patterns, and is paired with a brown calfskin strap.
The second — the Small Second Serpentine — uses green Swiss serpentine stone sourced from the Alpine region surrounding Zermatt in Switzerland.
It features a 5N-finish hand-guilloché small seconds sub-dial and a green calfskin strap, while its 40 mm diameter case comes with a polished fluted bezel, onion crown, and 3 bar water resistance.
The Jasper is housed in full stainless steel, while the Serpentine features a two-tone stainless steel and 18ct red gold case.
Powered by the automatic manufacture Calibre C.6000, which offers a 55-hour power reserve, the launches are limited to 50 pieces per model, and are priced at £12,200 /$13,900 for the Jasper and £17,900 / $21,300 for the Serpentine.
