De Bethune crosses the desert with new DB25xs Sand Winds
De Bethune has expanded its signature DB25 collection with the debut of the DB25xs Sand Winds, a watch made entirely from grade 5 titanium.
The centerpiece of the 40 mm watch is its yellow titanium dial, achieved by combining two proprietary in-house techniques: random guilloché and natural oxidative heat treatment. The resulting rippled texture looks like the wind pattern shifting across desert sands, hence the name.
The dial is accented by polished yellow titanium hands, matching hour-markers, and subtle white gold inserts.
The watch’s manual-wind Calibre DB2005 movement is visible through the dual-AR-coated sapphire caseback, beating at a frequency of 28,800 vph.
The DB25xs Sand Winds comes paired with a lined brown alligator leather strap secured by a polished titanium pin buckle, and is priced at $85,000.
