De Bethune takes to Geneva with three new references on offer

De Bethune has made use of the Geneva Watch Week platform this year to unveil three new references.

Lifting the lid on the Silver Moon, Dark Sand and a Monopusher Chronograph, the brand is showcasing the novelties to retailers, press and media at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel de la Paix in Geneva this week.

First in the three is the DB25Vxs Silver Moon, an evolved interpretation of 18th-century horology.

At 40mm and powered by the DB2105V5 calibre, the watch pairs a barleycorn guilloché silver dial with De Bethune’s patented spherical moon phase – a palladium and flame-blued steel sphere emerging from a blued titanium sky.

It offers a six-day power reserve and is priced at $99,000.

Next up is the DB28xs Dark Sand which is described as offering a material study on the DB28xs Steel Wheels, partly thanks to the fact it is clad in matte anthracite zirconium.

With a compact 39 mm case, it retains the open architecture and deltoid-shaped bridge shape of its predecessor, while the new piece features a black sandblasted titanium dial, polished mauve titanium hands and hour markers, and an anthracite microlight caseback.

Powered by the calibre DB2115V13, also with a six-day power reserve, the DB28xs Dark Sand retails at $115,000.

Last, but certainly not least is the DB25 Monopusher Chronograph.

Retailing at $99,000, in expanding the line De Bethune has done so with a new salmon dial in what it hopes can add warmth to the model’s refined, minimalist character.

The 40mm mirror-polished titanium chronograph is powered by the DB3000 caliber with an ultra-thin column wheel and instantaneous 60-minute counter.
