Dior relaunches popular line
Dior is relaunching its Chiffre Rouge watch line, which is complemented this season by additional limited edition pieces.
The Chiffre Rouge features a signature red second hand, which Monsieur Dior describes as the “colour of life.” Dior’s favourite number, eight, is also highlighted in a vibrant scarlet.
Although he saw red as the colour of life, Monsieur Dior’s favourite colour was grey, which is the colour that the new collection celebrates.
Launching this month, there will be three limited edition variations in the range. First
The main limited-edition models are presented in a monochromatic grey design, limited to 150, featuring a 38mm case and an interchangeable rubber strap engraved with the iconic cannage motif. They house a high-precision automatic mechanism, visible through a transparent red sapphire crystal on the back.
A 41mm chronograph version is also available, limited to 150 as well.
The most exclusive piece is a diamond-paved treasure (limited to just 20), which combines a rose gold bezel with a white gold dial. The hour markers are set with coloured gemstones, and the watch comes with a grey alligator strap.
