Fall edition of eBay’s Watchlist lands

Following the success of its inaugural Watchlist, eBay has now published the Fall edition.

Like with the first Watchlist, the company uses the priceless data from its 134 million users and the almost 2.4 billion listings on its platform.

Again, the Watchlist is curated by eBay’s new resident stylist, Brie Welch, who is known for her work with high-profile clients like Katie Holmes and luxury brands such as Bulgari and Givenchy.

Arguably the main benefit of these new market data summaries by eBay is to give its huge audience of fashion/luxury lovers the summary of what’s hot and what’s not, thus influencing the buying decisions of many.

The key watch-related takeaways from this second eBay Watchlist report include:

  • Audemars Piguet appears as one of the brands that are noticeably on the up, with number of items sold up 31% in the Jan–May 2025 period
  • Cartier’s average sales price growth has been 31% in the January–May 2025 (albeit this includes jewelry)
  • In the January–May 2025 period, the watch models that stand out for their average price growth include: the Bulova Sutton Classic (+58%), Breitling’s Super Chronomat (+51%); the Bulgari Serpenti (+41%); the Chanel Première (+31%), Cartier’s Tank Française (+37%), and the Omega Speedmaster (+17%)
  • Searches for the Cartier Panthère were up 15%, while searches for unisex watches were up 67%
