Fears takes to the skies with new pilot watches
Fears Watch Company has unveiled a new collection of pilot watches, its first in 180 years.
These classically styled aviator watches are named after Filton, a town that was home to the historic Bristol Aeroplane Company where the British components for Concorde were made.
Launching alongside the Brunswick 40 ‘Filton’ are the Redcliff 39.5 ‘Pastel Collection’ and the Brunswick 40.5 Jump Hour ‘China Blue.’
For the Redcliff 39.5 ‘Pastel Collection’ three new references come with stylish pastel-coloured dials. Additionally, the new Brunswick Jump Hour is inspired by traditional Stoke-on-Trent pottery.

On the launch, Nicholas Bowman-Scargill, managing director of Fears Watch Company, stated: “For Fears, this year feels deeply significant. We are marking 10 years since the revival of the brand, and at the same time honouring 180 years since it was first founded in Bristol in 1846.
“That dual perspective with one eye on our heritage and the other firmly on the future has very much shaped these new releases. I’m pleased how these new references demonstrate the strength and versatility of the Fears design langue that we’ve worked unreservedly to establish these past 10 years.”
The Brunswick 40 ‘Filton’ comes in two variants: raven black and squadron green. The latter is a matte gradient inspired by the Royal Air Force and the ombré tones of vintage squadron markings. The piece is powered by the La Joux-Perret G100 automatic calibre.
The pastel collection features three matte-lacquer pastel dials — sherbet yellow, soft peach, and pale lilac — which are also powered by the La Joux-Perret G101 automatic calibre, offering a 68-hour power reserve.
Finally, the Brunswick 40.5 Jump Hour ‘China Blue’ follows on from the success of the ‘Barleycorn Plum’ launched in summer last year. The watch is powered by the Christopher Ward JJ01 jump-hour module, built atop a Sellita SW200 base, delivering the instantaneous hour jump every 60 minutes.
The collection will be available to purchase from 9 April 2026 with shipping from the end of the month. Fears will also be exhibiting at Time to Watches in Geneva from 14-19 April in the Villa Sarasin, where delegates can try on all six new watches.
