Fore! TAG Heuer and TaylorMade launch new golf watch
Two giants in watches and golf, respectively, have combined forces to release the new TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E5 45 mm x TaylorMade Edition.
Taylor Made has been at the forefront of golfing innovation since 1979, while TAG Heuer has been dominant in the golf space among watch brands since the TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45 ‘Golf Edition’ was launched in 2019.
Released today, the collection includes the golf-focused smartwatch, a co-branded Spider ZT putter, and accessories.
The watch features a 45 mm raw, sandblasted grade 2 titanium case designed to mimic the natural tones of golf clubs, and is paired with an 18-hole engraved ceramic bezel.
Powered by a Snapdragon 5100+ chipset and TAG Heuer OS, advanced algorithms automatically record every shot and position without player interaction. Data is processed through TaylorMade’s platform to deliver “strokes gained” metrics, showing where players win or lose shots.
The battery powering the watch delivers up to two days of normal use or 12 hours of continuous golf tracking.
Coming on a blue leather and black rubber bi-material strap, with an additional stretch textile strap in the box, the estimated price of the TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E5 45 mm x TaylorMade Edition is $2,550 / £2,150.
