Fourth collab between Seiko, Wind Vintage, and Rowing Blazers

They say third time’s the charm, so NYC clothing brand Rowing Blazers must really feel like it’s hit upon a winning formula by collaborating with Japanese watch brand Seiko and and vintage watch expert Eric Wind of Wind Vintage for a fourth time.

It has announced the introduction of two new Rowing Blazers x Wind Vintage x Seiko 5 Sports Rally Divers limited edition watches modeled on the vintage Seiko 5 Sports Rally Diver.

The SRPM21 is a racing green model housed in a 38 mm stainless steel case paired with either a steel bracelet or a blue nylon strap, and the SRPM19 is a bright blue variant housed in a 42 mm case with a steel bracelet or a green nylon strap.

A crown engraved with the Rowing Blazers monogram, an exhibition caseback featuring Rowing Blazers’ signature ‘Bath Club’ faucet motif alongside Wind Vintage branding, and a co-branded special edition presentation box are all elements that make these feel like real collectors’ pieces.

Each reference is powered by Seiko’s automatic caliber 4R36 movement and has its production limited to 2,500 individually numbered pieces.

“We feel incredibly privileged to have worked with Seiko on a fourth collaboration,” said Rowing Blazers’ senior collaborations manager, Tommy Cissel. “To be able to reimagine our original ‘Rally Diver’ in two new sizes and colors is a great way to continue to honor the heritage of both brands. Watches are such an important part of our brand, and we are incredibly excited to continue our partnership with Seiko.”

Eric Wind was equally happy with the ongoing teamwork between the three companies. “Working with Seiko is a dream come true,” he said. “Growing up, my dad’s daily driver watches were Seiko watches, and the first vintage watch I ever purchased was a vintage Seiko 5 Sports Rally Diver from 1969.

“The Rally Diver from our first Rowing Blazers x Seiko collaboration in 2021 was a tribute to my original Rally Diver and remains one of the most desirable Seiko 5 Sports watches ever made. It is an honor to design and release the next chapter of this iconic collaboration.”

Officially launching on July 9 for $495 each, the watches will be available on the Rowing Blazers and Seiko USA websites.
