Grand Seiko slims down for winter

Grand Seiko has unveiled two 33mm timepieces featuring its iconic Snowflake and Skyflake dials.

Inspired by the snow-covered Hotaka mountains near the Shinshu Watch Studio, these models represent the smallest and slimmest 9F quartz creations to date, measuring just 33.0mm x 9.1mm.

The “Snowflake” (pristine white) and “Skyflake” (light blue) textures are achieved through a specialized silver-plating and coating process to maximize light reflection.

Powering the new releases is the Caliber 9F51, the first new 9F movement in six years. It is 0.6mm smaller in diameter than its predecessor, allowing for more elegant, compact case dimensions.

Available globally starting April 2026, these models are designed for smaller wrists and are priced at $3,200.
