H. Moser & Cie. dips its toe into the world of ceramics
H. Moser & Cie. has entered the world of technical ceramics with the launch of the Streamliner Tourbillon Concept Ceramic.
Marking a first for the Schaffhausen-based manufacture, the new model translates the collection’s signature organic curves into a scratch-resistant anthracite grey ceramic.
The watch pairs a 40mm cushion-shaped case and integrated bracelet — finished with alternating vertical satin and polished surfaces — with a minimalist Red fumé Grand Feu enamel dial.
In a move not often seen in the watch industry, and very much in keeping with the brand’s ‘Concept’ philosophy, the dial is stripped of both indices and logos.
The movement powering the watch is an in-house HMC 804 automatic caliber with a one-minute flying tourbillon. It features a double hairspring to improve isochronism and accuracy by compensating for gravitational shifts.
