Harrods reports solid but underwhelming financial results
Luxury department store Harrods has seen both sales and operating remain largely flat for the year ended 31 January 2026.
That’s according to Sky News, which claimed that turnover was flat at close to £1.1bn, a +1.2% increase year-on-year.
Meanwhile, operating profit of £172.3 million was similarly flat, representing a small decline on the £177.7 million recorded in the previous 12 months.
The company’s chief financial officer Geoff Weaver described the latest financial results as showing “further stabilisation and modest growth.”
“Our results provide a clean and clear picture, reflecting the strength of our core strategy: investing in exceptional customer experiences, strong brand relationships and continuously elevating our Knightsbridge store,” Weaver continued.
“While global macroeconomic and geopolitical uncertainty continues to shape the operating environment, Harrods remains cautiously optimistic.
“Driven by our iconic brand, long-term vision, and unwavering commitment to quality, we are uniquely positioned to navigate market shifts and drive sustainable long-term growth.”
