Helios Luxe showcases India’s potential at Watches and Wonders

Helios Luxe, part of Titan Company Limited, a Tata Group company, has showcased India’s luxury watch boom at Watches and Wonders in Geneva last week.

India’s potential has been demonstrated in Swiss exports. Since 2020, Swiss watch exports to India have surged by over 165%, more than doubling in value.

According to industry projections, India is on track to enter the global top 10 markets by 2028, with exports expected to exceed CHF 400 million / £379.7 million.

This export boom has been driven by legislation such as the Swiss-India Free Trade Agreement (TEPA), which is progressively reducing import duties.

Against this backdrop, Helios Luxe positions itself as a critical partner for Swiss brands seeking to unlock India’s vast potential, and Geneva provided the platform to highlight this opportunity.

“India is no longer a peripheral market — it is central to the future growth of luxury watchmaking,” said Rahul Shukla, vice president of the watches division at Titan.

“As the market expands, brands will need partners who can build depth, consistency, and a long-term presence. That is the role we see for Helios Luxe — helping brands build equity at scale in a complex but highly rewarding market.”

Helios Luxe currently operates 10 boutiques across key cities including Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi, with strong plans to expand over the next couple of years.
