Helzberg Diamonds DVP makes NRF’s 2027 Retail Voices list

The National Retail Federation (NRF) has announced its 2027 Retail Voices list, with a divisional VP from Helzberg Diamonds making the cut.

Ryan Holm, divisional vice president of retail operations and innovation at Helzberg Diamond, is the only watch & jewelry retail representative in this year’s list.

Now in its third year, the program honors standout voices from across retail and consumer goods, from senior executives to rising luminaries, who are driving innovation and helping others.

Beyond their recognition at NRF 2027: Retail’s Big Show, those included in this year’s list are part of a year-round community, connecting with one another to share what they’re learning, amplifying what matters and help the industry navigate change.

Ryan Holm

As part of his role, Holm leads enterprise transformation across a fleet of 160+ stores. Operating at the intersection of frontline reality and executive strategy, he bridges corporate vision, vendor partnerships, and store teams to turn modern retail technology into practical, daily store execution.

Over a nearly 12-year journey with Helzberg, rising from store manager to regional manager and corporate leadership, Ryan has developed an authentic, frontline-first perspective on retail evolution.

He has been proud to help steer a trusted 110-year-old heritage brand into its digital-first future. By pairing Helzberg’s legacy of relationship-driven customer care with modern retail engines, Ryan champions the principle that smart technology should always empower store associates, never complicate their craft.

An active voice within the global retail community, Ryan frequently shares real-world insights on operational agility, tech adoption, and workforce engagement.

Whether collaborating on emerging retail tech or scaling new tools across the fleet, his mission remains constant: build a smarter, more human retail experience by listening to and serving the needs of the frontline.

Helzberg Diamonds

Helzberg was founded in 1915 by Morris Helzberg in Kansas City. It has since been on a journey spanning over 110 years with Morris’ son, Barnett Helzberg, playing a major role in what not only Helzberg is today, but the wider industry too.

In 1944 for example, Barnett Helzberg founded the Diamond Council of America, now a major educator in the watch and jewelry industry across the States.

Fifty years on from that, Barnett was still innovating and after a chance run in on the streets of New York, Barnett Helzberg met Warren Buffet, leading to Berkshire Hathaway acquiring the business.

In 2026, Helzberg operates over 160 stores across the country and is a stockist of Movado, Citizen, Tissot, Frederique Constant, Bulova and G-Shock watches.
