Hodinkee and Porsche Design team up for second limited edition

Porsche Design and Hodinkee have teamed up to produce the second of three collaborative watches — the Porsche Design Chronograph 1 Utility – Limited Edition.

The watch takes its inspiration from the brand’s military chronographs of the late 70s and 80s, which were known for their robust functionality and the Lemania 5100 automatic movement — the patent for which was only lifted in 2022.

Now featuring proprietary new complication the COSC-certified WERK 01.340, Porsche Design and Hodinkee have worked in tandem to bring the Utility back to life.

With 100 available exclusively through Hodinkee and its parent company Watches of Switzerland in the States, and a further 250 worldwide, the Chronograph 1 Utility – Limited Edition is priced at $9,650.
