Hublot unveils the Spirit of Big Bang Essential in taupe

Hublot has unveiled a new colourway to its Spirit of Big Bang Essential — the model now comes in taupe.

This is the fifth edition to the series that has become sought after by collectors due to its exclusivity. One design in one colour is released once a year by the brand.

The new release is limited to only 200 pieces for each model, and this latest piece marks Hublot’s second exploration of taupe, further expanding the brand’s range of timeless neutrals.

With 32 mm and 42 mm options, the timepiece is presented in a diamond-free execution to focus on the monochrome colour.

Each piece comes with two interchangeable straps, rubber and velcro, designed to switch styles in one click.

The 42 mm is powered by the HUB4700 self-winding skeleton chronograph movement, delivering a 50-hour power reserve. While the 32 mm version, powered by the HUB1120 self-winding movement, has up to 40 hours of power reserve.
