IN NUMBERS: The rise and rise of Rolex UK
The 2024 accounts for The Rolex Watch Company UK Limited have been published, and the green juggernaut continues apace.
The headlines are that turnover is up to its record level, and the same applies for the company’s operating profit.
A deeper dive into the data reveals that both turnover and profit numbers were inflated by income from three properties, which the company only acquired towards the end of 2023 (and therefore barely featured in last year’s numbers).
But, even without the numbers from these properties, this still means record sales and almost record profits for Rolex UK.
And all this is against the backdrop of economic uncertainty and Swiss watch exports to the UK being down 1.59% in 2024 versus 2023.
