Indie brand Beauregard dazzles with gemstone-laden release

Independent watch brand Beauregard, renowned for placing precious gemstones at the heart of its timepieces, has unveiled the new Ulysse Saint-Pétersbourg at Geneva Watch Days.

Limited to just 10 pieces, it marks Beauregard’s second major collaboration with independent watchmaker Vianney Halter.

The spectacular dial features an intricate 18K rose gold lacework frame housing 86 hand-carved coloured gemstones — including amethysts, opals, topazes, peridots, and rock crystal. Each stone is shaped in Beauregard’s Montreal workshop and paired with an underlying mother-of-pearl disk to create a luminous stained-glass effect.

Beneath the artistic exterior lies Halter’s signature ‘mysterious’ automatic movement crafted from German silver, featuring a patented invisible rotor, a 56-hour power reserve, and off-set hands.

The oscillating weight is inscribed with the Latin “memento mori Vulnerant omnes ultima necat” [“All wound; the last kills”].

Fitted with a chestnut alligator strap, the 41 mm rose gold watchwatch carries a recommended retail price of CHF 148,000 (exc. VAT).
