Industry digs deep into pockets at annual Jewelers for Children bonanza

Watch and jewelry industry charitable nonprofit Jewelers for Children (JFC) hosted its annual gala event in Las Vegas last week, with 800 jewelry and watch industry professionals coming together for an unforgettable evening of celebration and fundraising.

Jewelers for Children at Facets took place on May 31 at the Venetian Resort during the JCK trade show.

The event honored Michael Lerche of Goldstar Jewellery and J.K. Symancyk of Signet Jewelers, and it also included an interview with wish-kid Sadako, who was diagnosed with cancer at age 11.

Sadako had taken a trip to Hawaii with JFC grantee Make-A-Wish to Hawaii to learn more about her family and celebrate her health.

On the night, JFC announced a first distribution to JFC’s grant partners for 2026 of $1,275,000, with an additional distribution in the fall increasing the amount for 2026.

Additionally, the paddle raise and auction raised over $250,000 which will help many more children thrive.

Jewelers for Children will be fundraising again in partnership with the US Watch Awards, which takes place on November 23 at Guastavino’s in Manhattan.
