Introducing the Gerald Charles Masterlink Perpetual Calendar

Unveiled for the first time at Watches and Wonders, Swiss brand Gerald Charles has introduced the new Masterlink Perpetual Calendar. 

The watch comes with a number of standout quirks and features, including the fact that the movement reveals a map of Geneva. The Geneva stripes trace the city’s streets, while the curved lines reflect Lake Léman. The gap between bridges follows the Rhône, and a single black ruby marks the Gerald Charles atelier on Rue du Mont-Blanc. 

The Masterlink Perpetual Calendar is the brand’s first asymmetrical perpetual calendar in four centuries of Swiss watchmaking history. Remarkably, it remains instantly legible.

The sub-dials’ layout features three wide-open registers and an oversized moonphase at 6 o’clock — the Maison’s signature ‘smile.’ Here, the moon glides with near-continuous motion across a lacquered blue sky.

Crafted from Grade 5 titanium, the 40 mm case weighs less than 100 grams and delivers swimming-level water resistance.
