IWC Schaffhausen to cull 18 jobs at its headquarters

Richemont-owned IWC is planning to cull 18 jobs at its Schaffhausen plant, according to AWP news agency.

A spokesperson for the brand, which employs about 800 people in total in Schaffhausen, told AWP that it had come to an agreement with all the employees involved in the cuts.

The spokesperson said: “IWC Schaffhausen is adjusting parts of its organizational structure to accommodate the company’s continued growth and long-term development plans.”

Despite the impending layoffs, IWC has insisted that it remains solid in its commitment to Schaffhausen as a production site.
