Kay Jewelers expands Connecticut footprint to 16 sites

Kay Jewelers is growing its retail presence in Connecticut with a new location in Cheshire.

According to local news website CT Insider, the 16th location in the State will open its doors at The Shops at Stonebridge in Cheshire later this year. 

It will join more than 2,600 stores owned by the Signet group in the United States, Ireland and England. Its brands include Zales, Jared and Kay in the US, and the likes of H Samuel and Ernest Jones in the UK. 

CT Insider reported that despite plans being earmarked for later this year, no firm date has been confirmed.

The Shops at Stonebridge are now close to being fully leased but a number of them are yet to open, even after some of the first tenant moved in last fall.
