La dolce vita! Doxa looks to Italy for inspiration
Swiss watch brand Doxa has created its first-ever special series dedicated to Italy — the Sub 200 Grande Roma.
The watch has come about as part of a partnership with Italian jeweller Gioielleria Grande, and is limited to just 50 numbered pieces.
In terms of design, the watch features a refined black gradient dial and a caseback engraved with the Roman Colosseum, a symbol of Rome’s timeless strength.
The 42 mm case is crafted from high-quality 316L stainless steel and topped with a vintage-style “glass box” sapphire crystal.
True to its diving heritage, it is water-resistant to 200 metres (20 ATM) and features a unidirectional rotating bezel for safety.
The watch is powered by a reliable Swiss automatic movement (Sellita SW200) with a 38-hour power reserve and comes equipped with the brand’s signature stainless steel “beads-of-rice” bracelet, though a secondary brown NATO strap is also included.
The SUB 200 Grande Roma is available now for EUR 1,590.00 exclusively in Gioielleria Grande boutiques and on their website.
