Laco celebrates 100 years with limited edition watch

German watchmaker Laco celebrated its 100th anniversary with a “count up” of five special edition watches, inspired by its extensive archive.

This move was in conjunction with its collaboration with fellow Pforzheim-based watchmaker Circula on a matched pair of watches.

The celebrations culminated in the Edition 100, a model that was launched in December 2025. The watch takes inspiration from a 1950s Laco timepiece, showcasing the era’s design codes across its clean lines and slim bezel. Its 38mm case is made from stainless steel with a gold-tone IP (ion plated) coating.

It has a matte black dial that is contrasted with a champagne-colored outer ring, while on the closed case back there’s an engraved sun logo, a traditional Laco hallmark from the 1950s and 1960s that the brand has been reintroducing across its collections.

Inside is the slim Laco 300 automatic movement, based on the Sellita SW300. There’s a power reserve of approximately 56 hours, and the black Shell Cordovan strap is made from a dense, durable horsehide leather known for developing a unique patina over time.

Limited to 100 pieces, the Edition 100 is priced at €1,450.
