Line-up for Valuers’ Conference in Birmingham announced

The National Association of Jewellers (NAJ) has announced the line-up for the upcoming Valuers’ Conference.

Taking place at the Edgbaston Park Hotel in Birmingham on 16–17 May, the conference is aimed at valuers, but also retailers, sales staff, and students looking to learn about the trade.

Workshops and masterclasses will be held on Sunday 17 May, and the full roster is below:

  • Howard Levine — Synthetic Diamond Prices
  • Charlotte Rose and Lisa Levinson — ASSURE Program
  • Rachel Kinsella — Valuing Unique and Complex Items: Building a Defensible Framework
  • Rupert Huddy — Hallmarks and Designer Stamps
  • Gabriel Kleinberg — Investigating Gemstone Treatments
  • Jackie Sanders and Gaynor Wright — Progressing with FoAP
  • Seth Solomons — Large Diamond Valuations

“We are delighted with this year’s selection of workshops, which offers a strong balance of practical insight and expert-led discussion for valuation professionals at every level,” said the chair of the NAJ’s Institute of Registered Valuers, Sammantha Maclachlan. “With refinements to the programme, including extended 120 minute sessions, we are confident delegates will welcome a format that allows for greater depth and breadth of learning.”

The above day of workshops and masterclasses take place the day after a full schedule keynote presentations, which will be as follows:
