Management reshuffle as new president of Zales is announced
Signet Jewelers has announced a change of personnel in its leadership team, with Jamie Cygielman being appointed president of Zales.
Zales, which is one of North America’s largest fine jewellery retail chains, is a stockist for premium mass-market brands like Citizen, Bulova, Fossil, and Tissot.
Cygielman’s remit will also include Signet’s entry-level jewelry business Banter, while Pam Cloud has taken over as president of its online diamond retailer, Blue Nile.
“Jamie and Pam are accomplished leaders who understand how to unlock the potential of iconic brands through consumer insight, innovation and disciplined execution,” said CEO J.K. Symancyk. “Their appointments bring important new capabilities to Signet as we position Zales and Banter for their next phase of growth and accelerate Blue Nile’s transformation.”
Cygielman, who will report to Symancyk, brings with her over 30 years of experience working with globally recognized consumer brands, and will officially begin her new role in Dallas on August 24.
