Maurice Lacroix expands Aikon offering with six frozen carbon models
Maurice Lacroix has introduced six new models to its Aikon-IC collection, all featuring frozen carbon a composite material combining carbon fibres with metal powders or coloured pigments to create a different dial pattern on each watch.
Leading the new collection are three limited edition pieces. The Aikon-IC Frozen Carbon Bronze combines a 43 mm bronze case, black ceramic bezel and carbon dial containing bronze powder. Limited to 500 pieces, it is priced at $4,350.
The Frozen Carbon Damas uses Swedish-made DS95X Damascus steel for its 43 mm case, with both the layered steel and titanium-powder Frozen Carbon dial producing unique patterns. It is also limited to 500 pieces and priced at $5,400.
A third 500-piece edition, the Frozen Carbon Deep Forest, pairs a black DLC-coated titanium case with a green ceramic bezel and green Frozen Carbon dial. It costs $4,550.
Three non-limited models complete the range, offering sky blue, purple and red Frozen Carbon dials in 43 mm stainless steel cases with black ceramic bezels. Each is priced at $4,300.

All are powered by the automatic ML1000 calibre, developed by Maurice Lacroix with Soprod. It is adjusted to an average accuracy of -4/+4 seconds per day and offers approximately 60 hours of power reserve.
The watches are water resistant to 100 metres and use Maurice Lacroix’s ML Easy Change strap system.
