MeisterSinger goes upmarket to celebrate 25th anniversary
To celebrate its 25th anniversary, German watchmaker MeisterSinger has unveiled the Panthero Jumping Hour.
This new release, in line with the surge in popularity of jumping hours timepieces, is a reimagined 40.5 mm timepiece that features a refined, slim-rimmed case and a spiral-shaped crown.
It’s the asymmetry of the watch that really makes it stand out. Rather than a traditional central hand, the watch utilises a jumping hour window and a sculpted minute hand that traces a superimposed ring.
The sun wheel rotating element on the dial is based on the MeisterSinger “fermata” logo. It tracks passing seconds without numerical markings, providing a calming visual for the wearer.
Powered by the MS-JH-01 (based on the Sellita SW300), the calibre includes a custom module for the jumping hour display and an exhibition back, featuring an anthracite-finished rotor.
The collection debuts with a 25-piece guilloché edition, with each silver dial hand-engraved using a manually operated machine, ensuring no two pieces are identical. This version is priced at £7,990.
