NAJ aims to raise industry standards with new initiative
The National Association of Jewellers (NAJ) has launched a new initiative, called ‘NAJ Endorsed.’
The aim of the initiative is to formally recognise and benchmark high-quality training and education across the watch and jewellery industry.
To achieve endorsement, external providers must undergo a comprehensive review of their course content by the NAJ, and those courses that pass muster will be listed on the Association’s website, displaying the official ‘NAJ Endorsed’ logo.
The NAJ Endorsed program launched with three newly approved providers, including ‘Watch Scholar,’ which provides expert-led courses for professionals working with timepieces.
Marie Garnett, the NAJ’s head of education, said: “The NAJ Endorsed programme marks an important step in ensuring that high-quality, relevant training is easily identifiable across our industry. By recognising trusted providers who share our commitment to professional standards, we’re helping learners make informed choices and giving businesses confidence that their teams are investing in the very best education.”
