Neuchâtel inspires BA111OD’s Chapter 7 expansion
Following its launch last May, BA111OD has unveiled a new interpretation if its Chapter 7 Skeleton.
Inspired by the summer light of Neuchâtel while remaining faithful to the first model, the new iteration is presented in natural steel which replaces the original anthracite PVD treatment.
The brand and its founder, Thomas Baillod, describe Neuchâtel as more than just a place where its watches are imagined are assembled, and explain that its rich watchmaking heritage as well as the lake and Jura mountains have long shaped the brand’s identity.
The watch is powered by a Soprod PO24 skeleton automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve. Its 40mm case is crafted from 316L stainless steel and features a transparent caseback, combining vertically brushed surfaces with polished facets.
The openworked dial showcases the movement and its rubies, while brushed and sandblasted finishes add contrast across the display.
A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating protects the dial, while a crown positioned at 4 o’clock carries the BA111OD emblem.
Water resistant to 10 ATM, buyers can choose between an integrated stainless steel bracelet with tool-free micro-adjustment (CHF 955/ USD 1380) or a frost blue rubber strap (CHF 895/ USD 1295).
The campaign BA111OD have launched around the watch features Loïc Huguenin, BA111OD Playmaker and Neuchâtel-based wingfoiler, who ranks among Switzerland’s leading athletes in the discipline.
On his home lake, he works daily with the wind, the light and the elements. An approach that naturally echoes the values of precision, balance and control that also define watchmaking.
