New B2C vintage show to run parallel to Inhorgenta in 2027

A new vintage exhibition called Inhorgenta Vintage will be running in parallel to Inhorgenta 2027, targeting collectors and enthusiasts.

Taking place from February 19–22 on the grounds of Messe München, it will sit as an entirely separate entity from the main Inhorgenta exhibition, which will remain a purely business-to-business watch and jewellery trade show.

Josef M. Stadl, president of the German Society for Chronometry (DGC), will be on site to offer authenticity and quality checks, as will be Stefan Friesenegger, bestselling author and speaker for jewellers and universities, who is also a member of the expert panel of the Deutscher Knigge-Rat (German Etiquette Council) for the luxury/watches category.

“Vintage and antique jewellery as well as pre-owned jewellery and watches stand for history, craftsmanship, and sustainability, resonating with the spirit of the times,” said Stefanie Mändlein, exhibition director of Inhorgenta.

“With Inhorgenta Vintage, we are creating a dedicated space for this segment for the first time: a place where visitors can discover and acquire special pieces as well as have their own jewellery and watches valued.

“At the same time, it creates a curated platform where renowned dealers, collectors, and industry experts come together and tap into new business potential.”

Inhorgenta has established itself as the biggest watch and jewellery trade show in Europe outside of Watches and Wonders in recent years, and will be looking to tighten its grip on this mantle in light of the arrival of Basilia in Basel.
