New owner of Peter Jackson the Jeweller begins new chapter

The new owner of Peter Jackson the Jeweller in Preston and Blackburn insists that it’s going to be business as normal at the stores as it begins its new chapter.

Watcho acquired the business in July following the retirement of Peter Jackson after more than 44 years in the trade.

“Peter built a highly respected business with deep roots in the local communities, strong customer relationships and a reputation for personal service. As we take these stores forward, preserving that legacy remains at the heart of the transition,” the company said.

“The familiar teams remain in place, both stores continue from their existing locations, and customers can continue to enjoy the same trusted watch and jewellery brands they know.

“We’re also looking forward to bringing new ideas, experiences and collections to Preston and Blackburn, including our Watch Heritage Events, while continuing to invest in the stores and, most importantly, the customer experience,” it continued.
