New Panerai dive watch coming next month
Panerai has announced the release of its Submersible Navy SEALs PAM01738 for July of this year.
The 44 mm stainless steel diving watch is officially licensed by the US Navy and features a shaded anthracite dial with yellow accents, a target-style small seconds counter at 9 o’clock, and upgraded Super-LumiNova® X2.
This luminescent set-up widens the indexes by 20% and increases the glowing surface area by 45%, emitting a green and blue two-colour layout.
The brushed steel case is equipped with a unidirectional rotating bezel featuring a scratch-resistant matte black ceramic insert.
It achieves a deep-sea water resistance rating of 50 bar (~500 meters), thanks to its reinforced caseback.
The watch comes with an interchangeable strap system and ships with both a black rubber and a grey canvas strap.
Powering the PAM01738 is the automatic caliber P.980, which features a traversing balance bridge and delivers a three-day power reserve.
The Panerai Submersible Navy SEALs PAM01738 is available from next month and is priced at £10,400 / $11,300.
