Nomadic is having a laugh with its latest launch
For its latest watch, Belfast-based Nomadic Watches has teamed up with Northern Irish comedian Colin Geddis.
The 50-piece limited edition StageTimer is, aptly, designed around the precise timing of stand-up comedy.
Built on Nomadic’s core Maraí 401 dive watch platform, the release is split evenly between two finishes: 25 pieces in classic stainless steel and 25 in black DLC.
The unidirectional bezel features custom set-time markings mapped to the checkpoints, countdowns, and structural rhythms of a live stand-up set.
A high-contrast red minute hand brings a pop of colour to the dial, while the winding rotor, which is visible through the caseback, is custom-shaped like a stage microphone.
The 40 mm case comes with 200m water resistance and is powered by the automatic Sellita SW200-1 movement (41-hour power reserve).
It comes fitted on a quick-release bracelet equipped with Nomadic’s MicroGlide adjustment system.
The StageTimer launches on the Nomadic Watches website on July 31 and is priced at £1,350 (no dollar price announced yet).
