Nomination extension announced for 2026 NAJ Awards

The 2026 NAJ Awards has extended the deadline for nominations, in an aim to give businesses more time to showcase their achievements.

The original deadline of 1 August is now 6 August, with entries free for NAJ (National Association of Jewellers) members and £50 per nomination for non-members.

The NAJ Awards feature 15 categories designed to recognise excellence, innovation and professionalism from every corner of the industry.

“We want to make sure every business and individual has the chance to take part in this year’s NAJ Awards,” said Adam Cook, marketing manager at the NAJ. “Our industry is full of exceptional talent and inspiring stories, and extending the entry deadline gives even more people the opportunity to showcase their achievements.”

Award categories include:

  • Community Engagement of the Year
  • Digital Engagement of the Year (sponsored by Squash Media Group)
  • ESG Initiative of the Year (sponsored by SGS)
  • Store Design of the Year (sponsored by Visionary Displays)
  • Customer Champion of the Year (sponsored by Cooksongold)
  • Designer of the Year (sponsored by National Business Register)
  • Rising Star of the Year (sponsored by British Academy of Jewellery)
  • Unsung Hero of the Year (sponsored by JQV Gemstones)
  • Workshop Professional of the Year (sponsored by At The Bench)
  • Great Businesses
  • Bespoke Retailer of the Year (sponsored by Bespoke Quarter)

Finalists will be announced ahead of the ceremony itself,  2026 NAJ Awards Ceremony, which will take place on 8 October at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham.
